What we collect
- Followers: name, email address and stated sector interest, provided when you follow a company or subscribe, plus open and click activity on emails we send.
- Issuer contacts: name, title, company, ticker, email, phone and the notes you provide when requesting a proposal, and the account details used to sign in to the client portal.
- Site visitors: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed). We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
To send the emails you asked for, to respond to proposal requests, to operate the client portal, to measure campaign performance in aggregate for Issuer reporting, and to comply with law. Issuers receive aggregate statistics (delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed) and the list of followers who chose to follow their company. Followers of the general list are never shared with Issuers.
Our contact database
Our investor contact database is compiled from opt-in subscriptions and from the customer records of a prior business relationship. Before any address from that history receives campaign email, it receives a single permission email explaining who we are and inviting it to confirm or decline. Addresses that decline, bounce, or do not respond within the period stated in that email are suppressed.
Unsubscribe and do-not-email
Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Requests are processed the same day and applied across all campaigns for all Issuers. You may also email unsubscribe@bellwetherreach.com or write to the postal address below. No login, no reason, no further steps.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade subscriber addresses. We share data only with the service providers needed to deliver email and host this site, and where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined in state privacy law. Our email programs are directed at U.S. residents. Send requests to privacy@bellwetherreach.com.
